These kinds of articles require disclaimers, so continuing this trend, I totally respect and admire Amazon as a company [and all its services ;)]. I even have an Echo Dot! (3rd Gen) and regularly order stuff through Amazon.in. It is just that I really, really cannot ignore that fact (refer the title) and I wish people become aware about it! Let me start with screenshots... Just in case y'all are wondering...the first 2 screenshots are of the app while the next 2 are of the mobile website. Apart from the gradient, I can't see any difference really there. Getting the point? Amazon has, in my opinion, technically done no value-add as such by creating this app in the first place (apart from whopping app install numbers) As per App Store  (Left),  As per Google Play  (Right) Btw...this app just has an average rating of  just 3.2/5 on the App store! I mean seriously, at-least here in India, in the app I can only see 2 visible addition

Using Quick Settings has become a way of life (this is in fact an under-statement!) (one of those factors which we often fail to appreciate!) Listening to users back then, Google finally added the ability to edit those quick setting tiles and even made them open-sourced in Android 7.0! Meaning apart from adding, deleting and rearranging the default ones present, developers were free to add their own custom ones further leading to more user conveniences! Well developers did it in various ways, example...a tile for a new tweet or a new SMS  ( co-incidentally, the apps in those hyperlinks are of the same developer) and some even thought of having fun with it. I got Whatsapp's new dark mode at least 2 weeks before the official release, The popular email app (calling itself the 'Inbox by Gmail' alternative), Spark Email app introduced more dense mails and folder management which again I got 3 weeks before the official release, Even got Uber's new horizontal interface pretty much before it was officially announced and so on... The list can go on, but here is the point I am trying to put - I am Impatient, if something new (features / overhaul, etc) is announced considering the apps or even the software, I want to try it as fast as possible.
